Every child uses their voice to express their creativity, ideas and dreams. Because we believe these voices deserve to be heard, FasTracKids® gives them a platform where they can demonstrate their confidence and their ability to communicate effectively. One way that our programs develop a child’s communication skills is by having them create a short presentation at the end of each lesson to share the importance of what they learned.
To extend this learning internationally, FasTracKids holds an annual speech contest, the Voices of FasTracKids. Each year, students enrolled in our programs showcase their hard work and progress by researching, writing and performing speeches in their native or second language. Every child speaks in front of their classmates while video is recorded by the FasTrack teacher.
This year, children spoke about “What it means to be a FasTracKid.” Students shared why they were proud to be FasTracKids, as well as their positive experiences in the program. Children who participate in this contest often show a high level of presentation and vocabulary skills as well as a unique understanding of the importance of early learning.
See our contest winners, ages 3-8 years, describe what FasTracKids means to them in the YouTube video playlist below.
