Read for the Record Book Announced!

Jumpstart has announced that Llama, Llama, Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney will be this year’s choice for the Read for the Record event! Each year, Jumpstart brings awareness to the crisis in early education by having children and adults participate in the world’s largest shared reading experience.

Project CURE

Many of our FasTracKids students come from stable and privileged households. Their parents are able to provide great opportunities such as a quality education, extracurricular activities and being a FasTracKid!  Unfortunately, many children in underdeveloped countries are not able to receive the proper nutrition or basic medical care that they need to live, let alone an education.

Read for the Record


We set a new record!

FasTracKids International once again participated in Jumpstart’s annual campaign titled Read For The Record!  FasTracKids Centers were a part of the crusade of reading the same book on the same day in hopes of setting a new world record while bringing awareness to the crisis in early literacy.

On October 7, 2010, FasTracKids helped reach a new record by reading The Snowy Day, by Ezra Jack Keats in 16 different countries.  Jumpstart reported that 2,057,513 children heard the story of Peter and his adventures in the snow.
