STEAM Skills Meet Careers With FasTracKids New Program
FasTracKids International and Rozzy Learning Company of St. Louis, MO, USA have formed a partnership to offer a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) program with a focus on careers, called FasTrack® Careers.
FasTrack® Careers engages children 3-8 years old with purposeful learning experiences and exposure to different modern day STEAM related careers. This supplemental curriculum introduces students to experiments and activities that relate to work being done by engineers, city planners and biologists, among other professions.
“It’s the career element that separates FasTrack® Careers from traditional STEAM programs.” explains Allison Bischoff, COO of Rozzy Learning Company. “The way that the program poses problems and challenges in a careers driven context gives purpose to experiments and projects.”
Rozzy Learning Company’s STEAM programs are currently offered in US schools and centers. With the FasTracKids partnership, FasTrack® Careers will be introduced to schools and centers in other countries, helping children become future “Successful Global Citizens”.
“We are proud to offer this exciting new program with the help of our new curriculum partner Rozzy Learning Company.” says President and CEO Nancy Faunce. ” FasTrack® Careers draws a connection between STEAM learning and tomorrow’s careers for our FasTracKids students.”
